He crafts balanced, mineral-driven and elegant wines from cool, wind-swept terroirs. [About this wine] A red blend built on Grenache from the high-altitude Piekenierskloof, rounded out with a portion of Cinsault. From unirrigated old vines on decomposed sandstone, partly whole-bunch and spontaneously fermented, aged in large tuns for a fresh, gentle style.
